Bob is planning to be at the Homestead on Sundays from 2:00 - 4:00 pm with Jim Clark scheduled from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Members can show up during that time for the rehearsal (we are extending the hours to hopefully accommodate more people attending practice.

Please note that the Farmer's Market will be there every Sunday, too, but it ends around 2:00 pm.

FALL PRACTICE SCHEDULE: we will not longer be using the Hawley Armory Hall at the UCONN campus for rehearsals. We are looking for another location - stay tuned!

Directions to the East Hampton Parade on Saturday, July 12, 2008:
Directions to each event originating in Hartford, Connecticut

Parade step-off is at 11:00 AM. Please meet at the High School, 15 North Maple Street, at 10:00 AM. We usually park at the High School to congregate. This is a fairly crowded parade (so try to get there early, if you want a good parking spot.) The High School parking lot is on the left sort of up on a hill.

To get there from here, get yourself on Route 2 and head for Exit 13, Route 66. Take the exit and head southwest (turn right off the exit, if you're coming from Hartford or turn left off the exit, if you're coming from east of this exit.) Travel a few miles through Marlborough and into East Hampton. Turn right onto North Maple Street and drive until you see the High School (I think its on your left.) If you're coming up Route 66 from the south, then turn left onto North Maple Street.

This is a busy, long parade and there is a hill at the end. Don't forget to bring water with you! I REMEMBER LAST YEAR THERE WERE SCHOOL BUSES AT THE END OF THE PARADE THAT TOOK US BACK TO THE HIGH SCHOOL!
