The New Jersey Liberty Bell is located in City Hall Circle in Perth Amboy. On the 4th of July each year, the replica is rung 13 times at 2:00 PM (one ring for each of the original 13 colonies. The Bell ringer for 2007 was Geri Bolanowski, Councilwoman, City of Perth Amboy. In addition, parts of the Declaration of Independence are read at the bell ringing ceremony.
