- At 7:04 a.m. on October 9th, the National Park Service moved the Liberty Bell from its previous home in the Liberty Bell Pavilion on Market Street to its new residence in the Liberty Bell Center on the west side of Independence Mall (along 6th Street between Market and Chestnut.)
