Virginia Halfpenny 1773 Out of Stock Authentic reproduction of the 1773 Virginia Halfpenny. The Halfpenny was the only copper coin minted in England exclusively for distribution in the British North American colonies. Coin package includes a brief history of the coin. Struck on both sides, the coin is made of lead-free copper alloy. A bust of King George III appears on the face of the coin; the back is imprinted with the shield of the colony of Virginia, bearing the Arms of the King. Small parts warning: Not recommended for children under 5 years of age. Keep small parts out of the reach of children who still put objects in their mouths.
