Civil War Union Army Leather Waist Belt High quality, hand-made solid black leather waist belt fitted with a Civil War Union Army brass buckle. Leather belt features snaps enclosures so that different belt buckles can be easily interchanged (in case you need to re-enact on both sides of the Civil War.) This piece of decorative stomach armor saved many lives! Belt is re-enactor quality, however, the belt's width of 1 1/2 inches is sized slightly smaller to fit the belt loops of today's jeans for everyday wear. Great accessory for the Union Field Jacket or Union Officer's costume. A little information on sizing...Civil War waist belts were worn over the soldier's jacket. If you're undecided between two sizes, we recommend selecting the larger size if the belt will be worn over a couple layers of clothing.
