Coins of 1776 and the American Revolution
Product ID: SET117
Our Price $9.95

Authentic reproduction coins of 1776 and the American Revolution era.  Set includes a brief history of each coin. This set includes 5 different coins:

  • Continental Dollar of 1776
  • Massachusetts Pine Tree Copper of 1776
  • Spanish Bust Peso of 1776
  • Two Bits or 1/4 of the Spanish Piece of Eight
  • New Hampshire Halfpenny of 1776

Struck on both sides, the coins are cast in a pewter alloy which resembles the weight and feel of the originals. The coins are electroplated in copper or nickel, antiqued and hand-burnished to faithfully duplicate the rich appearance of the old coins. The replica coins make a distinctive gift for the history buff as well as serve as valuable a teaching aid. Packaged in a hard plastic sleeve to protect the coins (they can be easily removed from the sleeve.)

Small parts warning: Not recommended for children under 5 years of age. Keep small parts out of the reach of children who still put objects in their mouths.
