Liberty Bell video

The Making of a Liberty Bell (Video Documentary)
Product ID: 500VHS
Our Price $15.00

In 1751, the Liberty Bell was ordered to commemorate the 50-year anniversary of William Penn's Charter of Privileges which established the inalienable right of freedom of conscience by granting religious liberty to all, whether Christian, Jew or Muslim.

In 2001, the Whitechapel Bell Foundry cast a full size replica of the Liberty Bell using the original patterns for the Providence Forum to commemorate 300 years of religious liberty in America. This videotape documents all stages of the replica's production from the start of the mold-making, through the bell's casting, tuning, and the finished replica bell. A film that brings to life the making of one of America's most important icons of freedom and of the rarely seen art of bell founding by one of the world's most notable bell founders.

VHS Videotape (NTSC format for US and Canada only) Color
