Letters Home - A Collection of Original Civil War Soldier's Letters
Product ID: CW00010
Our Price $3.95

The American Civil War, in which the lives of more American soldiers were lost than in any other war before it or since it, was a war the American public is still fascinated with today. Naturally, there were no modern communication or media as we know today, so the only record we have of the conflict, and the day to day life of the Civil War soldiers, is from newspapers and books of the time, and more personally, from the surviving original letters and photographs of the soldiers.

This small booklet is designed to provide the reader with a brief insight, from the soldier's point of view, of some of the major battles of the Civil War.

Paperback, 27 pages.
