Bonnie Blue flag

Confederate Bonnie Blue Flag (3x5 foot)
Product ID: 72535
Our Price $7.95

When Mississippi seceded from the Union on January 9, 1861, the Bonnie Blue flag was raised over the capitol building in Jackson as a sign of independence. Among those who witnessed the event was an Irish immigrant named Harry McCarthy, who shortly after wrote and performed the famous song, 'The Bonnie Blue Flag'. The flag was used as an unofficial flag of the Confederate States of America.

A single white star on a blue field, the flag is printed on lightweight polyester with two grommets for hanging. Excellent as an accessory for Civil War project or wax museum. Size is 3' x 5'.
