Bust of Ulysses S. Grant, Commander of the Union Armies during the Civil War. In 1866, Congress appointed Grant a full general. He was the first man to hold this rank since George Washington. In 1868, as Republican candidate, the Civil War hero was elected to his first term as president of the United States. This highly detailed portrait bust is crafted in polystone in with a bright white finish and mounted on a black base. Label on the bottom of the base provides information about Ulysses S. Grant.

Packaged in a gift box, the bust is 6 inches high and 3 inches wide/deep.
