Epic Battles of the Civil War Comic BookVolume 3: Antietam

Antietam (Sharpsburg), Maryland, September 17, 1862, proved to be a major turning point in the war. It ended the Confederate invasion of the North and with it the possibility of England and France recognizing an independent Confederacy. The Union victory also provided President Lincoln with the political opportunity to issue the Emancipation Proclamation.

Produced in cooperation with Marvel Entertainment Group, Inc. and Marvel Comics, Volume 3 recounts the battle at Antietam in comic book form. Includes biographies and photographs of Robert E. Lee, George McClellan and Ambrose Burnside.
